Terms of Service

Last updated 4 October 2026

The rules for using BeyondQueries, written to be read.

1. Who these terms are with

BeyondQueries is a service run by Irevex (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between Irevex and you, or the organisation you use BeyondQueries for (“you”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. What the service does

BeyondQueries connects to a database you choose, turns questions written in plain English into SQL, runs that SQL against your database and shows you the result, together with the query that produced it. Features may change while the product is in early access; we will not remove a feature you are paying for during a billing period without telling you first.

3. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us at support@irevex.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what teammates you invite do within the roles you give them.

4. Your database and credentials

To connect a database you give us a host, a database name, a username and a password. We encrypt the password before storing it and use it only to run queries you or your teammates ask for, and to read the schema of the tables you choose to expose.

BeyondQueries only reads your data. Every statement is checked before it reaches your database, and anything other than a single read-only SELECT is refused, so the service does not insert, update, alter or delete data. As a second safeguard, we ask you to connect a database user that can only read data, and the product guides you to set one up. You decide which database user to connect, and you are responsible for the permissions you give that user.

You confirm that you are allowed to connect the database and to let the people you invite query it, and that doing so does not break any agreement or law that applies to you.

5. AI-generated answers

Answers and SQL are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. Every answer shows the SQL that produced it so you can check it. Do not rely on an answer for a decision with legal, financial, medical or safety consequences without checking it yourself.

You can connect your own AI model provider. When you do, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and any charges they make are billed by them, not by us.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • connect a database you are not authorised to access;
  • use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • try to access another customer’s data, or probe, scan or attack the service;
  • overload the service on purpose, or get around usage limits or plan restrictions;
  • resell the service, or copy it to build a competing product.

We may suspend an account that does any of these things.

7. Your data

Your data stays yours. That includes the contents of your database, your questions, the answers, and the notes and corrections you write. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service for you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Plans and payment

BeyondQueries has a Free plan and paid plans, listed with their prices on our Pricing page. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Each plan includes a number of questions a month. On paid plans, questions past that allowance are billed at $0.01 each ($1 per 100) on your next invoice. On the Free plan, new questions wait until the allowance resets. Promo codes apply only as described when you enter them. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout where it applies. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. When you buy a plan, Polar’s checkout terms also apply to the purchase.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using BeyondQueries and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@irevex.com. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or if we stop running the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice where we can and refund any unused part of a prepaid period.

10. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its answers will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss or corruption of data, however caused. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
